This week SMS researchers invited their young neighbours–from Tigger’s Honeypot Childcare Centre–to visit and show them just how fun science and discovery are. The scientists didn’t have to do much convincing–they had them at PPE (personal protective equipment).

Actually, young children are naturally inquisitive and love to learn. These little investigators had been getting right into National Science Week, with discussion sessions and field trips to see different types of scientists.

They already knew that “scientists find out things”.

It turned out to be just as exciting for the grown-ups to show their little visitors around as it was for the kids. Their most captivated audience yet?
